- Online (Sephora.com): at checkout, expand "Gift Card" and enter your card number and PIN.
- In-store: hand the card to the cashier, who'll scan it at checkout.
- Mobile app: tap your profile → "Wallet" → "Add gift card", then use it on any future order.
- Partial use: only the amount needed is deducted — the rest stays on the card until you use it again or it expires.

Do Sephora gift cards expire?
In the US and Canada, Sephora gift cards generally do not expire and cannot lose value over time — federal regulations protect prepaid card balances from inactivity fees for at least 5 years from purchase. In some other markets, an expiration date may apply: check the back of your card or your purchase email. The exact validity is always displayed when you look up your balance.
Can I use my card in-store and online?
Yes — Sephora gift cards work both on Sephora.com and at Sephora retail stores worldwide (Sephora US, Sephora Canada, Sephora inside JCPenney, Sephora Kohl's). Just remember the card was issued in a specific currency: a USD card cannot be used directly on Sephora.ca without potential conversion limitations.
Can I reload a Sephora gift card?
No, Sephora gift cards are not reloadable. Once the balance reaches zero, the card can be discarded or kept as a souvenir. To "top up" a recipient, simply buy a new gift card — they stack at checkout.
